My story
Hi my name is Carla and my journey into herbalism began after facing cancer in 2014, that was a turning point that awakened my trust in the body’s
natural wisdom. That chapter changed how I viewed healing.
I chose to walk a natural path, guided by intuition, faith, and natural desire to go the natural path rather than modern treatments.
Though I respect modern medicine and the many ways it can aids one’s path, it was not the path I decided in my own journey leading me to believe in my body’s innate ability to restore balance and vitality through natural means.
As a child I remember always making a wish and blowing the capsula head of the Dandelion, which is now the herb of my apothecary and is where I began studying herbalism, exploring the art of creating tinctures, potions, and remedies inspired by ancient apothecaries
My faith in the body’s natural wellbeing continues to guide me, this is not a rejection of modern ways, but a devotion to the path that resonates with my spirit. Through my deeds of my hands, I hope to inspire others to reconnect with the gentle, nurturing wisdom that lives in nature.

What other solvents can I use
🌙 Alternative Solvents to alcohol
Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerite) – sweet, alcohol-free, great for children and sensitive folk, makes gentle “glycerites.”
Apple Cider Vinegar is earthy, tangy preserves well
White Vinegar – less tasty but effective for extracting minerals.
Honey (Oxymel when mixed with vinegar) soothing, healing, adds sweetness and magic.
Oil (like olive, jojoba, or almond) – for herbal oils and
anointing blends rather than tinctures.

glycerin for sweetness, vinegar for grounding, honey for heart sweetness and oil for the body and ritual.
